    Domain Registration Terms

    Domain registration terms at SNG Hosting: registry and ICANN rules, your responsibilities, renewals, expiry, transfers and disputes.

    Domain Registration Terms

    Version 1.0 – Published 3 November 2026. Applies to orders placed from that date, and to existing customers from 3 December 2026.

    These terms apply to domain registration, renewal, transfer and DNS services, in addition to the Terms of Service. SNG registers domains through accredited registrars and acts as their reseller.

    1. Registry and ICANN rules

    Your registration is also subject to the policies of the relevant registry, the registrar, and, for generic TLDs, ICANN, including:

    • the ICANN Registrants' Benefits and Responsibilities (https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/benefits-2013-09-16-en);
    • the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP);
    • the Registration Data and transfer policies.

    Country-code domains (for example .eg, .sa, .de) follow their own registry rules, which may include eligibility requirements and longer processing times.

    2. Your responsibilities

    2.1You must give accurate and complete registrant contact data and keep it updated. False data or failure to answer a verification email may lead to suspension or deletion of the domain by the registry or registrar.

    2.2You are responsible for ensuring the domain name does not infringe trademarks or other rights.

    2.3You authorise us and the registrar to share your registrant data with the registry and to publish it where the registry requires.

    3. Availability and prices

    Search results are informational. A domain is registered only when the registry confirms it. If a registration fails, we refund the domain fee or credit it to your account. Premium domains, restorations and some ccTLDs have different prices.

    4. Renewal and expiry

    4.1You are solely responsible for renewing your domains on time. We send reminders by email as a courtesy; not receiving them does not extend the registration.

    4.2After expiry the domain may stop resolving immediately. Recovery during the registry's grace or redemption period, if available, costs the restoration fee. After that, the domain may be released and registered by anyone. We are not liable for any loss resulting from expiry.

    5. Transfers

    Transfers follow registry rules, including a possible 60-day lock after registration, transfer or change of registrant. We release domains on request when you are the verified registrant and no invoice is unpaid for that domain.

    6. Disputes and suspensions

    We follow decisions of the registry, the registrar, UDRP providers and competent courts and authorities, and may lock, suspend, transfer or delete a domain to comply with them. We may suspend domains used for abuse under the Acceptable Use Policy.

    7. Non-refundable

    Domain fees are non-refundable once the registry accepts the registration, renewal, transfer or restoration.
