    Install the SNG plugin in Codex

    Download the ready package, upload it to Codex, and connect your account with OAuth

    The official Codex package includes the SNG plugin definition, MCP server, and safe-use instructions. It contains no API token or private account data.

    Achtung

    Download the file only from your SNG account and upload the ZIP unchanged. Do not extract or modify it.

      Open API & MCP settings

      Sign in to SNG, open Settings → API & MCP, and select Codex from the client list.

      Download the Codex plugin

      Press the download button next to Codex. Your browser creates sng-hosting-codex-plugin.zip configured for the official MCP endpoint with no embedded secret.

      Upload the package to Codex

      Open Plugins in Codex, press add, and drag the ZIP into the upload dialog or choose it from disk. Wait for SNG Hosting to appear. Do not upload an extracted folder.

      Hinweis

      Codex accepts .zip, .tgz, and .tar.gz; SNG provides a ready ZIP.

      Schritt 4

      Enable and sign in

      Enable SNG Hosting. When Codex requests a connection, sign in to SNG in your browser, review scopes, and approve OAuth.

      Test the plugin

      Start a new conversation and ask: “Use SNG Hosting and only list my services.” Confirm the account and resources before any action.

      Hinweis

      Start a new conversation after a plugin or scope update so Codex reloads the tools.

    What is installed?

    • The plugin identity and description shown in Codex.
    • A Streamable HTTP connection to the official SNG MCP server.
    • A skill that instructs Codex to read first and confirm changes.
    • No passwords, API tokens, or customer data in the package.
